OGM attending 34th International NSFMW

Posted on: 1st Jul 2016

OGM will be attending the 34th International North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop at the Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland on 25th - 28th October 2016. Come along and meet the team and see what products, services and technologies we have to offer. The OGM team can be found at stand #9 in the Atrium next to our sister company Oil & Gas Systems Limited (OGS) who can be found at stand #10.

This is the major technical event for the North Sea oil and gas industry and the venue alternates between Scotland and Norway – this year it is in Scotland.

Alongside a range of exhibition displays the main function of the workshop is to provide 2½ days of technical presentations. This year David Mills and Julien Porré of OGM are joint authors of a paper entitled “Using a Liquid Ultrasonic Flow Meter in the Transition Zone”.

At the 2012 NSFMW David Mills presented a paper entitled “Errors Due to Use of the AGA8 Equation of State Outside of Its Range of Validity”, and this year an updated version of this paper is being presented by Norman Glen of the National Engineering Laboratory (NEL). David is shown as co-author and Douglas Griffin of the Oil & Gas Authority (OGA – the regulator for the UK North Sea) and Steiner Fosse of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD – the regulator for the Norwegian area) are supporting the content of the paper.
